Look Up and Live.

May 23, 2023 by Christina Feddersen

This business of living was meant to be more than plodding along each day with our heads bowed down and eyes on the ground. The grass, the flowers, the trees, and the sky - what a world to live in! We are surrounded by the light of life. No matter the challenges, we must give our very best to ensure we don’t let this business of living be on a treadmill.

Get outside, cross the rivers, climb the mountains, walk in the desert, sing the songs, get to your destination, and set intentions. We discover our strengths and weaknesses along the way by doing the hard things.

What a reckoning it is when you tap into this.

This world is rich with possibilities if we only take the time to look. Intentions can serve as our navigational beacon through life, fueling us to open our hearts and minds, ready for whatever may come our way. I have committed to practicing this over the last few months, but I sometimes get lost in the transition of thought and forget to seek out what is truly important at that moment, even if it may be hidden in the shadows.

Today, I looked up, and bravery came back into my line of sight. Walking this path requires a willingness to explore our darkness, go beyond our comfort zone, and confront issues we would rather ignore or deny. It is a daily choice to be better, to be dynamic, to truly live, for those are the moments worth sharing.

Do the work and see life with more clarity and joy. Look up and live.
